Our Story
Farthingly was born from frustration. Our founders spent years watching finance teams across Africa struggle with expense management tools built for Silicon Valley — tools that didn't support Naira, couldn't handle M-Pesa, and assumed everyone had a corporate credit card.
The name "Farthingly" is a nod to the farthing, a small but mighty British coin that was in circulation for over 700 years. Like the farthing, we believe every expense matters — no matter how small — and deserves to be tracked properly.
Today, we serve businesses across Africa, from Lagos to Nairobi to Johannesburg, helping them track expenses in local currencies, process approvals faster, and get their teams reimbursed through the payment rails that actually work here.
